Hi everyone, my name is Gavin Hodgkins & I am based in Epsom, Surrey.

I’ve been involved in design for the past 15 years, mainly working for myself. I started in the signage & advertising industry, dealing with clients from small one off businesses to British Airways (First Class Lounges Europe),www.wikiweddings magnetopia.org/ Body Shop (Europe) and Rainforest Cafe (London)

I now work solely as a website & graphic design freelancer and I love it!

I work with a small group of Freelancers, when required, giving me the overall skill set & the ability to produce small to large projects

CMS Group Services Ltd was formed in 2017. The directors approached me to design a complete package for the site, new logo & stationary

The Client approached me to create a clean & fresh site. I was instructed to design a new logo & colour scheme for the company that could be rolled out over several different media’s. Once that was agreed & approved, I developed the site to meet the Client’s brief.

Parkinson Landscaping

Phil Parkinson contacted me to build a new site for his landscaping & building business. Firstly, I designed a new logo & colour scheme for the company branding which was rolled out from stationary to vehicle liveries. We concluded the main navigation headings, sorted his images & optimised them, sourced content ready for site navigation headings..

The Ford Group approached me to develop a E-commerce site including creating new logo & stationary. I have already done a website for one of their other companies. We used Woocommerce & Wordpress Theme including setting up the payment gateway.

Everyone has been through the pain & cost for not having this in place. We all are very dependent on modern devises for all our daily tasks and business needs

I love everything to do with sports, but my passion has been GOLF over the years playing of 12 now, not to shabby!

I belong to the “League of loving Gentlemen” Golf Society and play with as many clients as I can, but as always, work dictates not playing enough to bring the handicap down. One day I will get down to single figures :)

I have 2 children, Ben & Livvy, age 21 & 23. They live their lives to the full & only need me when they want something, bless them!

Which CMS Platform is best?

This is a question that is asked all the time, why not WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Concrete5 etc… The fact is there is NO right answer to this. I have read numerous forums on this subject, debate after debate. In my opinion they all have merits depending on the Clients needs and brief but in the end they ALL can do the job.

I believe each web designer & developer choose the platform that suits them and most importantly they can offer a final product that meets the clients brief and vision.
